MY PERSONAL STORY AND INVITATION TO YOU
I’ll be honest. In my 20’s and 30’s, I was aimless and lost. Relationships weren’t working, my career was in transition, and my emotions were in chaos. I felt at the whim of forces greater than myself.
I yearned for a deep connection to a spiritual path, one that acknowledged me as a force for good and cultivated my innate gifts. A path that gave me direction and focus. I knew in my heart that we are far more powerful than we have been led to believe but I did not know how to access that power to make a difference in MY life.
I had no clue how to create a life for myself.
I woke up one morning, feeling alone and miserable. I was pushed to the brink of despair. My career was languishing, my primary relationship had just ended, and my living situation was in flux. As I lay there, I reflected back on my shamanic training with loving compassionate spirits.
Suddenly, I had a flash of insight, the beginning of a whole new way of being.
That day, I discovered how to form a partnership with the great powers that are available to us within a structure that produces change and miracles. Melding all I had learned from both human and spirit teachers, I turned my life around faster than I thought possible.
I began to flow with possibilities. I began to live the language of co-creation. My career took off, a new relationship flourished, and my living situation became rooted.
For many years I lived happily with my personal and professional results. I completed a transition from engineering to shamanic healer and teacher. My life partner and I purchased an amazing home on 5 acres outside of town.
Then something happened that I remember so clearly, just like it was yesterday. A student came to me in despair. She described the very same problems I had experienced and solved!
In that sobering moment, I realized the system I had been gifted was not meant for me alone but needed to be shared widely. This realization was not easy for me as I do not seek the spotlight. But my drive to be of service convinced me to write the book and teach Conscious Co-Creation.
This work proved to be too good to keep to myself!

Session 1: THE CO-CREATIVE PROCESS – Freeing the Creative Spirit
We’ll explore the roadmap for catalyzing an Inspirational world of possibilities and look at the fundamental choices that drive your life. We’ll develop the groundwork for successful co-creating.
You will learn:
- The 4 essential principles that bring focus and clarity to your creative process.
- Introduction to building sacred partnerships with the Spirit allies.
- How to make the fundamental choice to be happy.
- How to make the choice to be the predominant creative force in your life.
Session 2: THE HIGHEST EXPRESSION OF YOU: Consciously Creating Your Vision
You’ll continue to build on your fundamental choices, becoming conscious of how you create your reality. It’s helpful to start the visioning process by working with the 5 major areas in life. When you have these 5 major areas developed, you now lean into creating a whole self vision: body, mind and spirit.
You will learn:
- How to create a vision for your future self.
- Working with the stretch goal to create momentum towards your vision.
- This week you will consult with your Spirit Allies on building your future self.
- The best proven effortless model for co-creating that you can use in any situation.
Session 3: FREE THE WILD AND POWERFUL YOU! Creating Your Destiny
In this session, you’ll advance to defining your future self and identifying your path forward by developing a comprehensive picture of your future self.
You will learn:
- The 13 essential keys for intention mastery.
- How to avoid the pitfalls of the observable present.
- A clear process for solidifying what you stand for and putting it into practice.
- Simple ways to collaborate with Spirit Allies in the lower world to expand your vision.
Session 4: BEACONS FROM BEYOND: Receiving Guidance In Your Every Day Life
We continue to build our personal powers of creating and begin to investigate innovative ways to work with the Spirit World. We'll also explore how the Universe is conspiring to meet your intentions and invite the powerful magic of Synchronicity into your life.
You will discover:
- How to cultivate meaningful coincidences in a way that provides guidance and serve as guideposts along your way.
- The four types of synchronicity.
- This week you will journey to the Upper World to enlist assistance with your vision.
Session 5 – KNOW WHAT YOU DON’T KNOW: Opening Your Perception and Seeing Clearly
We’ll explore the non-linear nature of the Universe and the link to your co-creative power.
You will explore:
- The keys to opening to multiple possibilities.
- How to work with blind spots to open your perceptive powers.
- Tapping into the power of the Living Universe by building reciprocal relationships with the spirits.
- Recruiting wise Spirit allies to show you what you are not perceiving.
Session 6 THE POWER OF RECIPROCITY: Unlocking The Invisible Allies All Around You
We bring our attention to a special group of beings that enliven our spaces. We’ll explore how to create alliances with these spirits including the spirits of place, the Genius Loci and the helpful elementals.
You will learn:
- How to safely partner with the elemental spirits of the Middle World.
- How to easily anchor intentions and positive emotions in your home by co-creating with the spirits of place and technology.
- A shamanic Journey to co-create with the Middle World spirits of your spaces.
Session 7 YOUR SACRED JOURNEY: Integrating and Sustaining Your Connection to the Co-Creative World
In this final session, we’ll reflect on our progress and explore ways for you to take this body of work further in your life.
In this session you'll:
- Celebrate taking a stand for yourself.
- Learn to use acknowledgements and blessings to fuel your progress.

MEET YOUR TEACHER: Alida Birch
Alida Birch is a visionary author and a popular teacher and leader in the Eugene shamanic community. She has helped 1000’s of people around the globe recover from trauma, move forward in their lives, and find gentle practical methods to reconnect to the spirit world.
A healer and spiritual teacher for over 30 years, she has initiated more than 500 people in her Call of the Shaman apprenticeship programs. She co-founded Hearth of the Dancing Drum Healing and Drumming Circles in 1991 to foster shamanic healing in her community.
She counts as her most important teachers: Michael Harner, Sandra Ingerman, Tom Cowan, Claude Poncelet, the Q’ero of Peru, Sarangerel, Robert Fritz and, of course, her own wise and loving spirit allies.
She is the author of The Co-Creation Handbook: A Shamanic Guide to Manifesting a Better World and a More Joyful Life. Her work has appeared in Shamanism Journal, Community ConneXion, Alternatives Magazine and Healing Currents.
She received a MSW in Social Work and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. She is a Certified Shamanic Counselor by the Foundation for Shamanic Studies.

Frequently Asked Questions
This online course delivers live curriculum to you on a weekly basis and you can determine and control how you do the work. Whether your favorable work time is morning, afternoon or evening, you can participate live or listen to the recordings of each session at your convenience. In addition, all of the course materials are available to you at any time on the course website.
All you need is a computer, mobile device, or telephone. If there’s more than one person in your household taking the course, you’ll each need your own connection. We use Zoom video conferencing to make it just like an in-person event where you can ask questions and deepen your exploration of the course themes.
There’s no additional charge for connecting to Zoom with your computer or mobile device over an unlimited internet connection. There may be data charges on some internet plans. Please note that dialing your voice connection to Zoom from your telephone is a toll call; your telephone service provider will charge you according to your existing long-distance calling plan.
The main class will be 60 to 90 minutes each week. For some classes part of that 90 minutes will be separate video lessons. There are assigned audios to listen to each day in the morning and evening ~ about 25 minutes per day. There are assignments to complete that will help you crystallize your goals, aspirations, and visions for your life.
The course begins Monday March 27th at 5:00 pm PT / 8:00 ET and will meet weekly on the following dates:

Absolutely! All sessions are recorded and posted on the course website. You will be sent a link after each session so that you can view/review it at a time convenient to you. We also have an active community comment and question section for each session. You can post questions there in advance of or after the missed class and I will address them during the class or in the comments section.
You can finish the course at your own pace in your own time. You will have long term access to the course videos. Downloads will be made available as long as you agree to hold the material for your use only. You will have ongoing access to the comment section of the course lessons so that you can continue to interact and learn with the course participants even after you have completed your sessions.
This course is grounded in both recent scientific discoveries AND known ways of working with the spirit world and utilizes the very best of both. The goal of this program is to help you make practical changes to open up your gifts and shape a life you love.
